Business Continuity

In the context of the business continuity of Heracles Group and after evaluating the importance of the operational functions and the consequences of their possible interruption, a backup & archiving infrastructure has been proposed to the company, implemented and supported by Algosystems.

The solution was implemented using Veritas Netbackup.

In the context of the business continuity of the Global Finance investment group, secure storage of its data, as well as easily access to them, under all circumstances, was considered necessary.

Based on the above, Algosystems proposed and implemented an important backup & archiving project, both locally and in the cloud, intelligently safeguarding both the organization’s data and email.

With the aim of optimizing its data security, Assodivers – a specialist in submerged cable installations – commissioned Algosystems to upgrade the existing Symantec backup system to the latest version of the company, with advanced features.

New advanced features accelerate the systems restore process and support enhanced capabilities in virtual environments (virtualisation).

In order to ensure the critical operational continuity of the Hellenic American Union, backup & archiving system was installed and maintained by Algosystems.

This system provides for the safe storage of organization’s data in order to ensure the continuity of the business activity in case of a technical failure. A fact that could cause a variety of problems in the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure of Hellenic American Union.

Greek Yellow Pages has selected Microsoft DPM as a backup system for its data.

Algosystems undertook the design and implementation of the Microsoft DPM2012 Backup at Greek Yellow Pages on a physical Server, while FC technology storage systems (storage, tape libraries) were also used as storage spaces.

With the above implementation, data were fully secured according to customer’s needs.

The special nature of the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund made its operational continuity and its controlled exposure to emergency incidents that would threaten its uninterrupted operation, necessary.

The business continuity project was designed, implemented and supported by Algosystems. The DR site infrastructure is hosted in one of the largest Data Centers in Attica.

The Business Continuity services provided, offer the Fund a guaranteed work space and availability of infrastructure in order to be able to continue its operation without interruption, while minimizing the risk of loss of revenue or reputation.
