Traffic Management Control of S. Attica
S. Attica traffic management system is an important traffic management project that took place for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. The system was designed in 2002 and was completed on schedule in the summer of 2004. It cost 255m for its design, construction and application. The operation of the system is supported by two back-up traffic control centers which receive information from 210 CCTV cameras and over 700 loops. It also receives signals from 71 incident detection cameras and controls 24 Signs.
